Fee Information

Fee Policies
Registration Fee
is Rs. 6,000/- to be paid at the time of
registration. This is non refundable and does not
guarantee a place.
Development fee
is a
one time payment and used for capital expenditure.
If there are more than 2 siblings in/joining school,
a concessional
development fee of 60% will be charged.
No part of the development fee is refundable if the
student is enrolled for a complete academic year. If
a student remains in school for a very short time
refunds are given as follows:

Full refund

One
term only: 75% refund
*
Two
terms only: 50% refund
*
Three
terms only : 25% refund
Admission fee
are
non-refundable at any time.
Society fee
is Rs. 5000/- per annum, per family. This is used
for all British School Society expenses such as the
Board of Governors’ trainings, annual general
meetings and interim general meetings.
Insurance fee
is Rs. 150/- per annum, per child. Coverage
available is restricted to accident claims. Details
of the policy are available upon request from the
Finance Office.
Parent School Organisation (PSO) fee
is Rs.
300/- per annum, per child. This fee helps fund
various parent organised events such as Easter egg
hunts, Christmas Giving Tree, Teachers Day and
Workers Appreciation Day.
School fees
are invoiced on the first day of each term and are
payable within 15 days of the date of invoice.
Annual/ Bi annual
invoices can be issued on specific request.
Late fee-Term
/ Tuition fees not paid by the due date attract a
late fee of Rs.500/- per week, per child.
Bus Fee-
We
currently have 3 bus routes (2 for Gurgaon area and
1 for South Delhi). Bus routes are available from
the Admissions Office. Charges are fixed per term,
per route irrespective of whether the student uses
the bus for single or return journeys.
Meal Plan Fee
is charged per term. Current costs work out at
approximately Rs. 125/- per meal per child. The meal
plan is voluntary and available for students from
Year 1 to 13. Those wishing their children to join
may download the form from the downloads section of
our website.
Refundable deposits-
Refundable deposits are fully refundable provided
one clear term’s notice is given in writing to the
Accounts office with a copy to the Admissions
office. Families who are uncertain of the exact date
of their departure may give provisional withdrawal
notice to ensure refund of deposits. Students will
remain on our rolls until final confirmation of
withdrawal is given.
Notices
for withdrawal must be provided as follows:
* For
withdrawal at the end of first term notice must be
given by 3rd August 09.
* For
withdrawal at the end of second term notice must be
given by 19th October 09.
* For
withdrawal at the end of third term notice must be
given by 11th January 10.
*
For
withdrawal at the end of fourth term notice must be
given by 23rd March 10.
Refundable deposits are also dependant on the
student receiving clearance from the textbook
department and library that all books have been
returned in good condition. Lost or damaged books
are charged for at the prevailing replacement rate.
All
external examination fees
will be charged according to the fees set by the
examination board and actual expenses incurred.
SEN
(Special
Education Needs) fees will be charged as
per policy. |
