Having worked as a teacher’s assistant in other jobs and internships, I really appreciated the faith and confidence that the British School had in the interns allowing us full control in many of the classrooms. I was encouraged not only to develop lesson plans on my own, but was also asked to teach subjects that were not in the curriculum, but were of personal interest, such as film.
