RECRUITMENT POLICY
The
British School is committed to achieving equality of
opportunity in the recruitment and selection of
staff.
We recruit and retain the best possible staff.
Teaching positions are filled locally as well as
internationally while most of the administrative
positions are filled locally.
We maintain the databank of all the potential
candidates who apply to us during the year and start
the selection process when vacancies arise. For
teaching positions from the international market the
process begins from early January while for local
candidates the process begins from March/April so
that the candidates can start from the new academic
year which begins from end July for teachers. For
Administrative staff the vacancies are filled as the
need emerges.
All information on applicants is treated in
confidence and is restricted to those panel members
who are involved directly in the recruitment process
and its administration.
