• The school is fast approaching its golden jubilee in 2013. To mark this milestone in the school’s history, we are publishing a coffee table book which will trace the 50 years of the school’s history and its achievements through photographs and stories and memoirs from students, staff and alumni. Please send in your contributions or help us get in touch with those who might be able to help us. We need all the help we can get to make the golden jubilee a memorable occasion for everyone.

• We are planning a series of fun and interesting events to celebrate the school’s 50th. Please pencil in the dates 12, 13 and 14 December 2013 in your diaries for you need to be here (with family and friends) to celebrate this glorious moment!

• The Annual Alumni Reunion was held on 15 December 2011 with a lot of fanfare. Over 120 guests were present, including former students and teachers, many of whom visited us after several years. It was a cold December evening but the atmosphere was cosy, nostalgic and lively with students and teachers catching up and reliving old memories over dinner, drinks and a bonfire.

• The first ever Alumni Coffee Evening was held on 5 January at the school. It was a small, cosy evening attended mainly by those who couldn’t make it to the December alumni reunion. Most of the alumni present were fresh graduates from 2011 who were visibly excited to be back at school and catch up with one another over coffee and cakes.
