himself and make things happen when he went back to the UK to complete his studies. We really appreciate what you and your excellent staff at the School have done for him during these two important years for his education and his life. Thank you again!
Rewards and Achievements
Students are encouraged and recognised at every step in school by a number of awards and certificates presented by Teachers, Tutors, Curriculum Leaders and Principals. Giving awards and certificates to recognise outstanding achievement is a great way to encourage students to do their best.
The school is committed to rewarding and acknowledging effort and behaviour. We have formal and informal systems in place to reward students who make the right choices. Some of these are:
Superstar certificate- This is awarded on a bimonthly basis to students from Reception to Year 6. These certificates are given out at the Key Stage 1 or 2 assemblies and are awarded for showing improvement in the quality of work, good behaviour, meeting targets, helpfulness and the like. The certificates (which have student photographs on them) are displayed on the LCD at the Primary foyer area for all to see and applaud throughout the fortnight till the next set of students are selected for the Superstar. Miniature certificates of these students are also displayed on a small display board on the ground level in the primary building.
Students are given stickers for academic achievements and good behaviour. On attaining 25 stickers a student is awarded a Bronze Certificate, on achieving 50 stickers a student is awarded a Silver Certificate and on completion of 75 such stickers a student is awarded a Gold Certificate.
The names of the students are announced during assemblies.
Students are also given house points for good behaviour and the total points of each house are announced during Key Stage assemblies.
