Key Stage 3
(Years 7, 8 and 9)

Key Stage 3 offers a broad and balanced curriculum based on the guidelines established by the National Curriculum of England.

Curriculum for Confidence (C4C) is an integral part of KS3 and covers aspects of wellbeing through a contextualised programme which is devised to meet the needs of young adolescents. Students are given opportunities to develop transferable and leadership skills through FOBISIA ISTA, Round Square MUN CSR projects and the Key Stage 3 Co-Council. The Digital Citizenship Module is a compulsory part of the C4C programme and is appropriately mapped across the year groups.

In preparation for transition into IGCSE (linked to KS4), Year 9 students are counselled on subject options that are best suited to their ability, interest and career choice.
