The University Guidance Programme

Our University Guidance Office works with IGCSE and IB students to help them choose post-secondary education pathways that are best suited to the career plans and academic strengths. One on one counselling sessions are held with students and parents to advise on subject choices for IGCSE/IB and university applications.

Further individual guidance is provided to support with the following:

  • Identifying the course and university/college that best fits their strengths and interests
  • Understanding the US University application process, UK entry procedure, and other global destinations
  • Guidance on making scholarship applications, preparing personal statements and resume, and writing college essays
  • Conducting mock interviews
  • Planning and preparation for early applicants to the UK and USA
  • Preparing supporting documentation and processing multiple applications for universities across the world
  • Providing support on results day

The University Guidance Office also provides student enrichment in a variety of ways such as:

  • Voluntary Teaching Internship Programme with the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge
  • Community Service Programme in collaboration with partner NGOs
  • Work Experience Programme in collaboration with partner organisations
  • University style guest lectures, workshops and curated masterclasses by visiting university professors, including those from The University of Cambridge
  • Administering the PSAT Examination
  • Organising multiple international university visits and fairs
  • Publications – college handbook, school profile and quarterly newsletter

Our graduates go on to study at top universities worldwide including Ivy League schools in USA, Russell Group Universities in the UK, and leading universities in Canada, Europe, Asia and Australia.

Most importantly, our students are able to complete a journey that culminates in finding their right-fit universities across a vast and diverse range of interests such as law, engineering, finance, creative arts and medicine.
