Admission to the school is dependent upon:

  • A place being available in the year group.
  • The ability of applicants to demonstrate that they can complement the international character of the school’s student population and benefit from the education provided by The British School.

Do remember

  • Applicants from all education systems, nationalities and backgrounds are considered.
  • The cut-off age date for all year groups is 1 September. However, the school reserves the right to place an applicant in the year it deems appropriate.
  • An acceptance of admission at The British School signifies that you accept the school policies and agree to abide by those.
  • Applications from internationally mobile families will be considered throughout the school year.
  • Registration for Nursery opens in January for the following academic year.  Other years may open depending upon the availability of seats.  Please check the website in mid-February for registration dates for all other years.

Midyear admissions to IB and IGCSE

Admission to Years 11 and 13 is not normally allowed unless the student is coming from the same examination system and can demonstrate the ability to be at par with current students, provided the school can offer same/similar subject choices.

Year 11 is the final year of the IGCSE course (comprising Years 10 & 11) and Year 13 is the final year of the IB Diploma Programme (comprising Years 12 & 13).

  • Only online payment will be accepted.
